CHILDREN ARE AN ORNAMENT OF THE WORLD

At the ice rink in the yard of the school “Saint Sava”, in Saturday February 5th, was held cultural – entertainment program named “Palilula winter spell 2011” that organized City Municipality of Palilula. After welcomed speech of president of Palilula Municipality, professor Dr Igor Novakovic, performed composer and artist Minja Subota, poet Sasa Bozovic and children` choir “Elves”. Participants of this program, that is realized on the territory of CM Medijana, welcomed and Dragosalv Cirkovic, president of this neighboring Municipality. President Novakovic on this occasion reminded numerous audience, that under patronage of City Municipality of Palilula, during the February, on the ice rink in elementary school “Saint Sava”, in cooperation with sport` club “Oxygen” realizing Skating school. With training – skating school, that is included 65 children.

Participants of this activity are the best students of elementary schools from territory of City Municipality of Palilula but and children of single mothers from social vulnerable families in Municipality who are included and in project “Strengthening of Municipal capacity to improve the quality of life for socially vulnerable groups” from program “Exchange”.

In addition of anthology songs for youngest: “Children are an ornament of the world”, “We went to Africa”, “Fox got ill” by Minja Subota; poetry by Sasa Bozovic, Children` choir “Elves” working at Students Cultural Center in Nis, premiered on this occasion sang their new anthem which was written by Sasa Bozovic and music composed Dragan Tomic from Nis.
